Pathways to Teaching
A variety of teacher preparation programs are available through University System of Georgia (USG) colleges and universities. Currently, teacher preparation programs are offered by 19 USG colleges and universities, and a new program will open soon at Georgia Gwinnett College. In addition, USG two-year colleges offer freshman and sophomore level courses for students wishing to enter teacher preparation programs and for those who wish to become paraprofessionals.
